The course is designed for persons interested in management issues, who have certain knowledge about the principles of management and want to further deepen their knowledge.

The purpose of the course is to help students develop/acquire the skills necessary for effective managerial activities; deepen their knowledge in a number of issues, such as: modern management principles and concepts; organizational culture and development; organization of planning processes; issues of projecting organizational structures; leadership and management style; motivation strategies; methods and models of decision making; concepts and technique of effective time management; group dynamics and business communication.  

Upon successful competition of the course, students will be familiar with:

Modern management principles and concepts

Planning, effective decision making methods

Peculiarities of projecting organizational structures

Effective time management technique

Motivation strategies and methods of their implementation

Team management principles and conflict resolution strategies

Peculiarities of carrying out business communication

Students will be able to use acquired knowledge in practice:

To make substantiated managerial decisions, bring them to employees and implement effectively;

To plan separate organizational processes oriented to short-term and long-term periods;

To perform leadership functions in dynamically changing environment; to select adequate style of management and effectively lead motivation processes;

To support team management principles in the organization, to initiative them and carry out group dynamic processes in favor of the organization;

To effectively distribute personal and working time;

To plan and realize business communication processes.

Upon completion, students will be able to get through the managerial processes ongoing in the organization, to conduct their simple critical analysis, to provide own well-grounded opinions in a form of recommendations; to promote the de-activation of conflict environment in the organization, to raise managerial culture and promote the popularization of teamwork principles.
