    In modern world, professionalism is defined not only by an individual’s professional activities, but also by having effective presentation skills (linguistic, written and oral). The purpose of the training is to promote individuals working in public and private sectors, as well as any interested persons to carry out their activities successfully and ultimately raise their reputation at work. In the framework of the training course, they will familiarize themselves with the key principles of academic writing, elements of functional writing, rules of composing official-business documents, norms of Georgian literary language, orthography issues and oratory skills.

    The participants will acquire writing skills; fulfill practical tasks given by trainers (orthography, syntax, lexical, phraseological and stylistic exercises); discuss the texts containing frequently made mistakes; these mistakes will be analyzed during the lessons. Students will learn how to create well-founded and problem-oriented texts. They will learn the types of functional texts and the principles of their construction. The participants will familiarize themselves with the rules of creating presentation texts, methods of public speeches, use of supplementary, including multimedia means.

    Target group

    The target group involves public servants, representatives of private sector, and any interested persons willing to raise their written and linguistic competence in the Georgian language, to acquire the skills of composing official-business documents as well as oratory skills.
