On October 15, 2024, the Faculty of Law at TSU hosted the certificate award ceremony for participants of the Georgian-Polish student exchange program. The ceremony was opened by the Dean of the Tbilisi State University Faculty of Law, Dr.Tamar Zarandia, the Deputy Dean, Dr.Giorgi Dgebuadze, and Professor Dr. Arkadiusz Wudarski from the European University Viadrina.
As part of the program, a summer school took place in June 2024 in Berlin, Frankfurt (Oder), and Słubice. Participants included students from Tbilisi State University’s Faculty of Law : Medea Ansiani, Tamar Jakhua, Giorgi Getsadze, Lali Kalichenko, Giorgi Tsereteli, Nugzar Edisherashvili, and Gvantsa Khachidze.
The exchange program was organized by the law faculties of Tbilisi State University, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, and the European University Viadrina, with the support of the Association of Georgian and Polish Lawyers.
The program was coordinated by the Dean of Tbilisi State University’s Faculty of Law, Ass. Prof. Tamar Zarandia; the Deputy Dean, Ass. Prof. Giorgi Dgebuadze; Prof. Giorgi Khubua; and guest lecturer Tamar Ergemlidze.
Within the framework of Georgian-Polish cooperation, the Tbilisi State Ybuversity Faculty of Law plans to offer similar projects to students in the future.
