Scholarship Opportunity: University of Amsterdam Summer Programmes 2025

Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, as a member of UNICA share an opportunity for students from UNICA member universities.

The University of Amsterdam (UvA) is offering €500 scholarships for students to participate in a variety of summer programmes in 2025.

The scholarships will be provided as a tuition fee discount on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested students must apply for their chosen programme by submitting:

• Motivation letter
• CV
• University transcript

• Application deadline: 15 March 2025
• Scholarship type: Tuition fee discount (€500)
• Eligibility: Students from UNICA member universities, including TSU
• Duration: Two- (4 ECTS) and three-week (6 ECTS) programmes

Examples of Eligible Programmes:

• Birds: Our Shared History, Habitats and Future (3 weeks, 6 ECTS) – For bachelor students interested in ecology, conservation, and human-nature relationships.
• Urban Changemakers (3 weeks, 6 ECTS) – Ideal for students in Social Science and Humanities focusing on societal issues, social change, and urban studies.
• Addressing Conflict: Peacebuilding in Theory and Praxis (3 weeks, 6 ECTS) – Suitable for bachelor’s or master’s students in Political Science, Conflict Studies, and Law.
• Mindfulness and Compassion-based Interventions (3 weeks, 6 ECTS) – For advanced bachelor’s or master’s students in Psychology, Social Sciences, or Healthcare with an interest in mindfulness, psychology, or pedagogy.
