SMART-LABs - SMART|EDM_Lab and SMART|AtmoSim_Lab are functioning at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University to backing interdisciplinary research of international standards.

SMART|EDM_lab is leading laboratory in terms of Exact and Natural sciences, medicine, applied research and technology areas.  The aim of SMART|EDM_lab is to promote the development of international standard researches and modern future technologies. At the same time ongoing work in Smart-Lab will help students to develop modern experimental physics skills, which include electronics, programming, computer hardware, mechanical and software engineering, statistical data analysis, physical process modeling and more.

SMART AtmoSim lab is dedicated to atmospheric research, which includes chemical analysis of atmospheric pollutants, mathematical analysis of data and modelling of air pollution. The AtmoSim laboratory, which has no analogues in the region, was opened in TSU, based on a collaboration between the Jülich Institute of Energy and Climate Research (IEK-8, Troposphere) and the TSU faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences.
