Students of the Event Management vocational program have gained hands-on experience by participating in events dedicated to Georgia’s Independence Day. They were actively involved in representing Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) at its stand in Gori.
According to vocational student Ketevan Varsimashvili, direct participation in such events enhances their prospects of establishing themselves in the profession. "We are in Gori, representing the TSU Vocational Center. To the university stand we provide visitors with detailed information about TSU seven faculties and vocational center programs, helping applicants choose the right career path where they can truly see themselves," she said.
Nana Mamagulishvili, head of the Event Management program, emphasized that alongside theoretical studies, the program places significant focus on practical components, as hands-on experience is crucial for students' future employment. "In this regard, it is particularly valuable that students have the opportunity to participate in the planning and execution of various events. The Independence Day celebrations on May 26th were an excellent experience, allowing students to take part in the final rehearsals and, on the day itself, represent Tbilisi State University at the education stand in Gori," stated Nana Mamagulishvili.
