Call for Participation

The Organizing Committee of the International Symposium "Georgian Turkology: Past, Present, and Future" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of professor Nodar Janashia`s birth, cordially invites PhD holders and doctoral students to participate in this academic event.

Scientific Fields of the symposium:

• Philology
• Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy
• History, Source Studies, Archaeology
• Cultural Studies, Art Studies
• Ethnology, Anthropology
• International Relations, Geo-politics, Geo-economics

General Requirements:

• Working languages of the symposium are Georgian, Turkish, and English
• Each participant may submit up to two presentations.
• Submitted papers must present original research and must not have been previously published or presented elsewhere
• Abstracts (300–400 words) must be submitted in Georgian or Turkish, and English

• Abstract Submission Deadline: October 6, 2025
• Notification of Acceptance: October 9, 2025
• Registration Fee Payment Deadline: October 17, 2025
• Program Announcement: October 24, 2025

• Gönderilecek özetlerin daha önce herhangi bir yerde sunulmamış olması, nitelikli ve yeni olması zorunludur.
• Özetler en az 300-400 kelime uzunluğunda olmalıdır. (Sempozyumda sunulmak üzere gönderilen bildiri özetleri Gürcüce veya Türkçe ile birlikte İngilizce olarak  sunulması zorunludur).
• Sempozyumda sunum yapacak kişinin mutlaka yazar veya ortak yazar olması gerekmektedir. Başkasının adına bildiri sunulamaz.
