Incoming Visiting Staff
Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) projects, including those funded under Key Action 171 (KA171) and other international mobility programs, are centrally coordinated at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) by the Department of Foreign Relations.
The Institutional Coordinator for the Erasmus+ ICM program at TSU is Ms. Tea Gergedava, Head of the Department of Foreign Relations. All inquiries, nominations, and mobility-related correspondence should be directed to her office at incoming.staff[at]tsu.ge.
Unlike many European universities, TSU does not operate a decentralized system of faculty- or department-level academic coordinators. Instead, the Department of Foreign Relations serves as the sole coordinating body for all Erasmus+ ICM mobilities- whether for academic or administrative staff. This centralized approach ensures consistency, clarity, and institutional oversight throughout the mobility process.
Visiting staff are encouraged to initiate contact through their home institution’s International Relations Office, which must liaise directly with TSU's Department of Foreign Relations. All mobility arrangements, including the preparation of Mobility Agreements, and issuance of official invitation letters, are handled centrally to facilitate smooth communication and administrative efficiency.
We are pleased to welcome visiting academic and administrative staff and are committed to ensuring a meaningful and professionally enriching experience at TSU.
