    Museum of Zoology

    The Museum of Zoology of Tbilisi State University was established by Academician Niko Ketskhoveli in 1946. Today the Museum contains approximately 5000 objects, including unique coral polyps, butterflies, insects, mollusks, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals. School and university students as well as other visitors will find exhibits showing the diversity of wildlife, their anatomy and the peculiarities of their embryonic development.

        

    Unique bird collections include almost all species of endemic birds as well as migratory species.
