To honor the memory of the heroes who died in the August War, the Rector of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Academician Jaba Samushia , the Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Zviad Gabisonia, the Rector of the Georgian Technical University, Davit Gurgenidze, the Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University, Irakli Natroshvili, the Rector of the Georgian University of Sport, Tristan Gulbiani, and the universities’ administrative staff laid a wreath at the Heroes' Memorial.
