We would like to emphasize that any actions disrupting university life, educational and examination processes are unacceptable for Tbilisi State University.
We call on everyone to protect the right of students to education and to protest in a constructive and peaceful manner.
The attempt by several individuals (including people not affiliated with the university) to disrupt the exam process, which involves 26,000 students, is categorically unacceptable.
Furthermore, we assert with full responsibility that disinformation has been disseminated in the media as if “the university did not count the points” of students participating in the protests.
Tbilisi State University is committed to safeguarding freedom of expression and assembly and will always uphold its mission to ensure the unhindered implementation of teaching and research within the university’s premises.
