Tbilisi State University has become the publisher of another scientific journal indexed in the Web of Science database. The first English-language social science journal in Georgia with an impact factor indexed in the Web of Science database is a publication of the TSU Faculty of Social and Political Sciences.
The European Journal of Transformation Studies is characterized by its high-level international authors and multinational scientific advisory board. The journal’s scope encompasses a wide array of subjects, including global crises, conflicts, education, international politics, civic activism, and political institutions, among others.
The journal was founded in 2013 and has been actively promoting interdisciplinary dialogue ever since. Its editorial work is entirely based on the dedicated work of editors and reviewers. Over the years, the journal has become a platform that brings together scholars from different countries and promotes the exchange of academic ideas.
The international significance of the European Journal of Transformation Studies has increased since its inclusion in the European Humanities and Social Sciences Database (ERIH Plus) in 2015, and in the Web of Science’s Emerging Sources Citation Index in 2017. These achievements represent international recognition of the journal’s credibility and academic quality.
TSU’s partners in publishing the journal are the University of Gdansk (Poland), St. Cyril and Methodius University in Trnava (Slovakia), and the European Policy Research Institute (Poland).
