150 Young Scientists to Join TSU

To enhance the quality of its educational and research activities, Tbilisi State University is actively seeking to recruit young and talented personnel. In support of the aforementioned initiative, 150 assistants—young scientists—will join TSU as a result of the competition announced during the current academic year at the initiative of TSU Rector Jaba Samushia.

An assistant will engage in seminar and research work under the guidance of a professor, associate professor, or assistant professor as part of the ongoing educational process. A doctoral student shall be appointed to the position of assistant for a term of three years.

Based on the recommendation of local and international experts, TSU will offer invited lecturers the opportunity to compete for the position of assistant, with a view to ensuring the sustainable development of the university’s academic process.

This decision will facilitate the education of young professional staff, encourage the advancement of the academic field, and enhance the quality of the educational process.
