TSU students had the special opportunity to meet with Lasha Guruli, an Olympic boxing champion, world and European champion, and winner of multiple international tournaments, as well as Guram Kutatelidze, a Georgian MMA fighter and former UFC athlete.
The athletes spoke about their careers, the challenges they faced, their victories, the lessons they learned from their mistakes, and the discipline required in sports. They answered students' questions and took commemorative photos.
The TSU Department of Culture and Sports organized the event as part of the “Meet with Georgian Athletes” series.
