Academician Jaba Samushia, Rector of Tbilisi State University, and Oleksandr Spivakovskiy, Rector of Kherson State University (Ukraine), signed a memorandum of cooperation. The memorandum outlines plans for academic cooperation between the universities, the promotion of exchange programs, and the sharing of educational and research experiences.
Jaba Samushia, the Rector of TSU, stated that Tbilisi State University is ready to support the mobility of Ukrainian students, academic and administrative staff at TSU. “It is important for us to implement joint projects with Kherson State University and share experience,” said Jaba Samushia.
“This cooperation shows the Ukrainian people, our students, and our scientists that the Georgian people are always by our side,” said Rector Oleksandr Spivakovskiy.
The memorandum will promote the mobility of administrative and academic staff and students, as well as the planning of joint conferences, and the implementation of joint research projects.
