As part of his official visit, the Rector of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Academician Jaba Samushia, met with the administration of the University of Jordan. During the meeting, they discussed the main areas of future cooperation and began working on a joint memorandum.
The memorandum includes plans for student exchanges, organizing joint events, and strengthening academic cooperation. Particular focus will be given to cooperation in areas such as Arabic studies, Middle Eastern studies, international relations, archaeology, and technology.
Representatives of the University of Jordan expressed a particular interest in establishing active relations with Georgian researchers and initiating joint research projects.
