The Rector of Tbilisi State University, Academician Jaba Samushia participated in the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Eurasian Universities Union (EURAS) held in Istanbul.
During the meeting, representatives of EURAS member universities presented an overview of the performance of 2024 and discussed the progress of programs and projects planned for 2025. A significant portion of the meeting was dedicated to the formulation of long-term strategic goals and the planning of activities for the forthcoming year.
The participants expressed a desire to hold the 2026 EURAS Academy in Tbilisi, at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. This initiative represents another important milestone in the consolidation of TSU's international cooperation and the enhancement of its global academic network presence.
EURAS organizes an annual Education Summit, where member universities have the opportunity to share their experiences, discuss global challenges in higher education, and develop joint solutions.
