Presentation of Reports from Educational and Scientific Expeditions of the Faculty of Humanities

Tbilisi State University hosted a presentation of reports from the 2024 educational and scientific expeditions of students and professors from the Faculty of Humanities. The event featured reports from students and employees of the Institutes of Archaeology, Ethnology-Anthropology, Georgian Language, and Georgian Literature.

Darejan Tvaltvadze, the dean of the Faculty of Humanities, opened the meeting. She emphasized the importance of student engagement: “The most important thing is that you are personally involved in the processes that you may have read about in books - but you must actually see, feel, and explore them.”

The Dean noted that expeditions (fieldwork) not only enhance academic knowledge but also create personal scientific discoveries that are integrated into future research and experiences - in this way, each participant contributes to the development of science.
