Elections of the 8th convocation of Student Self-Governance will be held at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) on October 12, 2021. TSU students will directly elect 140 delegates.
Students of all levels are eligible to participate in the elections.
Candidates will be able to undergo registration as electoral subjects and receive registration forms from September 22, 2021 through September 28, 2021.
To undergo registration at the Central Election Commission, an independent candidate has to submit:
An identification document
A document certifying that he/she is studying at the TSU faculty, where he/she plans to run
A registration form approved by CEC
An organization willing to register as an electoral subject has to submit to CEC:
A registration form approved by CEC
An extract from the Registry of Entrepreneurial and Non-entrepreneurial (Non-commercial) Legal Entities; a copy of the statute; in case of a coalition of student organizations - an extract of each student organization united in the coalition from the Registry of Entrepreneurial and Non-entrepreneurial (Non-commercial) Legal Entities and copies of statutes.
Let us remind you that a student organization (coalition of student organizations), which already has an elected delegate in student self-governance of a respective faculty, does not need to collect supporters’ signatures.
