conversational AI platform leverages proprietary Machine Learning (ML) models to engage
online shoppers in personalized two-way conversations. The company has recently been
acquired by SpinCar, the global leader in digital automotive merchandising software and data.
Due to acquisition, Pulsar’s automated communication technology became the part of SpinCar’s
expanded global Product, Operations and R&D organization.

Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Full-stack Software Engineer to join our international team and help
us take our products and services to the next level. We appreciate team players with a solid
track record of published projects and experience on a wide range of technologies.
You will have an opportunity to work on interesting AI projects in a highly mission driven team
with diverse skill sets and interesting personalities. You will work on very challenging projects
that require a mix of coding skills, domain knowledge, research, little math and some humor :)

Responsibilities

- Be on time for a daily standup
- Participate eagerly in weekly plannings and reviews
- Write code in accordance with established style guides
- Write clear code with comments and README files
- Build Server side logic and expose it via REST API
- Work in accordance with Git best practices like Gitflow or similar
- Write short, succinct commits and tags with semantic versioning
- Maintain SemVer between code in VC and built images in Prod/Test environments
- Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Develop core platform services (front-end, back-end)

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in CS or related
- Motivated, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Openness to learning new programming languages
- Real world experience shipping production-ready code in JavaScript, React, Node.js
- Full-Stack development experience - web + services - If you've built something in your spare

- Familiar with CSS preprocessors, webpack, JSX, and NextJS
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL Databases
- Strong software design skills; database modeling would be a plus
- Prior use of AWS technologies at scale in a production environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to execute project deliverables within agile and scrum methodologies.
- Highly motivated and extreme sense of ownership and responsibility towards project needs
- Familiarity with automated build and testing methodologies and frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and virtualization technology like AWS and Docker
