Scientists and archaeologists from South Korea, Azerbaijan and Georgia will hold an international conference “Tri-national Archaeological Cooperation and Academic Exchange: Georgia, Azerbaijan, Korea” at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU).
On this occasion, the Rector of TSU, Jaba Samushia met with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Korea, Kim Tong Op.
The sides noted at the meeting that the Georgian-Azerbaijani-Korean archaeological conference will not be a one-time event and that the scope of the conference will increase.
“We offer our Korean colleagues to conduct joint archaeological research in Phasis. This will be the first major expedition in the region,” said Rector Samushia.
The Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Korea, Kim Tong Op pledged his support to TSU in the implementation of joint scientific and educational projects with the Republic of Korea.
