The journal “Chronos” of the Ivane Javakhishvili Institute of History and Ethnology of TSU has been included in the scientific database of academic journals ERIH PLUS.
“Chronos” is an annual, interdisciplinary scientific journal, which was published for the first time in 2020. The journal publishes original works related to Georgia from the disciplines of history, ethnology, physical anthropology, archaeology and art history.
ERIH PLUS (originally called the European Reference Index for the Humanities and Social Sciences) is a database of bibliographic information on scholarly journals in the humanities and social sciences that is widely used by the European scholarly community.
ERIH PLUS contains up-to-date data on European scientific journals. At present, 16 scientific journals from Georgia are included in the scientific database of ERIH PLUS. The inclusion of “Chronos” in the ERIH PLUS database is a positive evaluation of the work already done within the preparation of the journal. At the same time, the indexing of “Chronos” in ERIH PLUS is of great importance for the future development of the journal.
