Elections for the post of Rector of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) will be held on December 27.
The registration of candidates will start at 10:00 on December 16 and end at 18:00 on December 21 at the following address: I. Chavchavadze Ave., 1, Tbilisi, Room No. 114. The registration applications can also be sent to the e-mail address: chancellery@tsu.ge.
The Academic Council will consider the received applications on December 26-27.
A person holding a doctor’s or equivalent academic degree is eligible to apply for the position.
Within the period of December 26-27, the Academic Council shall determine the time and schedule of interviews with candidates; the decision of the Academic Council will be made public, and the candidates will be additionally notified about it.
To undergo registration, candidates are required to submit:
a) a document certifying the possession of a doctorate or an academic degree equivalent to it provided for by the Law of Georgia on Higher Education.
b) University development action plan and concept.
c) a copy of an identity card.
d) autobiography (CV).
e) Two color photographs, 3/4 in size.
f) Notice of conviction for a crime against sexual freedom and inviolability.
g) Drug testing notice.
