Jaba Samushia Awards Excellent Students

Academician Jaba Samushia, Rector of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, has awarded the BA and MA students of TSU with the jubilee coins of the university for the excellent completion of the fall semester of the academic year 2022-2023. The event was attended by deans of faculties, professors and students.
 

“Tbilisi State University is a bridge between the Georgian and European educational and scientific space. You should take up the reins of this country, you are the generation that the country will rely on; the generation that stands out for its education, determination and knowledge. Your main challenge is to get a European education that will be useful for the country,” Rector Jaba Samushia said during the meeting with the students.
 

He also noted that student support programs are being created at TSU, including summer and winter schools. “The purpose of these programs is to support our students in both educational and scientific activities,” the Rector added.  
 

Dali Tsakadze, an undergraduate student of the Faculty of Economics and Business, is one of the successful students awarded by Tbilisi State University. She said that the university award is not only a recognition of the achieved success, but also a great motivation that encourages students to continue their studies successfully and to serve the homeland.
 

Below are the students who graduated with honors in the fall semester of the 2022-2023 academic year: Elisabed Apakidze, a bachelor’s student of the Faculty of Law; Mariam Burjanadze, a bachelor’s student of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences; Ana Gviniashvili, a student of the one-level program (Georgian language) of the Faculty of Medicine; Dali Tsakadze, a bachelor’s student of the Faculty of Economics and Business; Ekaterine Pipia, a bachelor’s student of the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences; Rati Ramishvili, a bachelor’s student of the Faculty of Humanities; Ana Khuzmiashvili, a bachelor’s student of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences; Lia Ablotia, a master’s student of the Faculty of Law; Kristine Zhgenti, a master’s student of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences; Tatia Gratiashvili, a master’s student of the Faculty of Medicine; Ani Otarashvili, a master’s 's student of the Faculty of Economics and Business; Giorgi Korkotadze, a master’s student of the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences; Tamar Mgebrishvili, a master’s student of the Faculty of Humanities; Nato Lagidze, a master’s student of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences.
