The Faculty of Economics and Business football team from Tbilisi State University won LIGA TSU 2025.
The teams from the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences took second and third places, respectively.
While awarding the winners, TSU Rector, Academician Jaba Samushia noted: “Along with studying, it is important for young people to be involved in active student life, and sports are the best opportunity for this. We are doing our best to support such student projects.”
The best players of the tournament were:
Top scorer – Davit Beria (Faculty of Economics and Business)
Defender – Gigi Suliauri (Faculty of Social and Political Sciences)
Goalkeeper – David Saralidze (Faculty of Economics and Business)
43 teams from all seven faculties and the School of Tourism participated in the tournament, which was organized by the TSU Student Self-Government.
