Youth Agency Meeting with Students

Representatives from the Youth Agency met with Tbilisi State University students and gave a presentation about Studfest and the Youth Agency's other planned events.

TSU Deputy Rector Kakhaber Cheishvili, TSU Chancellor Lasha Saghinadze, Deputy Chancellor Giorgi Shamatava, representatives of the student self-government, and students from various faculties attended the meeting.

Vakhtang Baakashvili, the acting head of the Youth Agency, discussed the agency’s main programs and projects for the current year.

The meeting was organized by the TSU Student Self-Government. TSU students learned about the conditions for participating in the Youth Festival and the registration deadlines. They also discussed opportunities for students to engage in various activities.

The Studfest, initiated by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, is organized by the Youth Agency, Tbilisi City Hall, and the Association of Student Organizations of Georgia. The event will involve up to 25,000 students from universities across Georgia.

The festival includes holding sports tournaments and cultural and creative events between universities, as well as an intermedia competition between university theaters. There will also be volunteer activities and a STEM competition, which will allow young people to participate in various science, technology, engineering, and mathematics activities.
