On the occasion of the International Day for the Protection of Children, the Rector of Tbilisi State University, Academician Jaba Samushia, extended his congratulations to pupils from both public and private schools who had come to Tbilisi State University, as well as to children from orphanages.
At the event organized by the TSU library, children engaged in a variety of educational and entertainment activities. These activities included chemical experiments, mock archeological digs, calligraphy, and face painting.
The attendees were regaled by performances from the children of the Chokhonelidze Studio and the young dancers of the Mdznobari ensemble.
Additionally, the Sante Loko Moko animators provided entertainment for the children, while representatives of Sabavshvo Karuseli (Children’s Carousel) and the children’s publishing house Dila engaged the children in a variety of interesting activities.
As part of the event, children were greeted in the library by contemporary authors of children’s literature, who read their works aloud to the assembled children.
