The joint English-language master’s program in Political Science - Integration and Governance, developed through the cooperation between the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and various universities in the European Union, the Western Balkans and the South Caucasus, has gained international recognition.
The joint program successfully received full international accreditation from the Austrian Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation (AQ Austria), a full member of the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR).
The implementation of the Master's program is funded by the European Commission and, along with Tbilisi State University, involves the University of Salzburg (PLUS), Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje (UKIM), European University of Tirana (UET), University of Tirana (UNITIR), University of Sarajevo (UNSA), Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (SSST), University of Trieste (UNITS), Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA), Yerevan State University (YSU), and Eurasia International University (EIU).
As part of the master’s program, students will have the unique opportunity to study at member universities of the consortium and earn an internationally recognized diploma in political science from two to four of those universities.
