A national scientific conference was convened at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, under the auspices of the Faculty of Economics and Business. The conference titled “The World Economy in the Post-Pandemic Period: Results and Challenges” was dedicated to the 105th anniversary of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and was attended by representatives of academic and scientific circles in the relevant field, experienced researchers and doctoral students.
Professor Giorgi Gaganidze, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business of TSU, opened the plenary session of the conference. Nunu Mitskevich, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, and Professor Giorgi Gvedashvili, the Head of the Scientific Research and Development Department of TSU, delivered welcome speeches.
After the plenary session, work proceeded in sections.
