To develop academic and research cooperation between Tbilisi State University and the Technical University of Moldova, the Rector of Tbilisi State University, Academician Jaba Samushia, and the Rector of the Technical University of Moldova, Professor Viorel Bostan, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
Kakhaber Cheishvili, the Deputy Rector of Tbilisi State University, held a working meeting with the Rector of the Technical University of Moldova. They noted that the memorandum calls for enhancing the mobility of the university’s academic community, including researchers, as well as bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students.
The cooperation also involves supporting academic staff in creating joint scientific research projects; attracting funding from donor organizations; and facilitating research visits and publication of joint research results. Scientific papers will be published in TSU and Technical University of Moldova periodicals.
