This year, the largest number of applicants (49,929) have chosen the educational programs of Tbilisi State University.

According to the data of the National Assessment and Examinations Center, a total of 39,317 applicants have registered for the unified national exams. Most of them have marked TSU. In addition, TSU is the first-choice university for the most registered applicants - up to 12, 000.

In the academic year 2024-2025, TSU will admit 6,865 freshmen to 100 undergraduate educational programs.

TSU implements up to 240 accredited programs for students studying in seven faculties. In 2020, for the first time in Georgia, two programs of TSU - Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Computer Science - received accreditation from the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). Later in 2021, TSU’s International School of Economics (ISET) educational programs became the first in Georgia and the region to receive official accreditation from FIBAA, an internationally experienced quality assurance agency. Moreover, a joint TSU-Speyer MA Program in Public Administration was again accredited by FIBAA, meaning that graduates of these programs will receive internationally recognized diplomas that will be competitive in any country in the world.
