A delegation from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU), led by Rector Jaba Samushia, is paying a working visit to the Catholic University of Lille (Université Catholique de Lille, UCL), which has been a long-standing and successful partner of TSU.
The purpose of the visit is to further deepen the existing academic and scientific cooperation between the universities, explore new opportunities for bilateral partnership, and continue work on joint educational projects.
The Georgian delegation’s visit will entail meetings with the leadership of the University of Lille, faculty representatives, and the International Relations Office. The meetings with the representatives of the French university will address a number of issues, including the establishment of joint research initiatives, the enhancement of exchange programs, and the promotion of student and academic staff mobility.
For many years, TSU and the Catholic University of Lille have been cooperating in various fields, including the humanities, social sciences, and law. This visit marks a new stage in the development of partnership relations, which will significantly contribute to the process of international academic integration.
