The 9th International Scientific Conference “The Far East: History, Modernity and Future Challenges” opened on May 7 at Tbilisi State University (TSU). The conference was organized by the Far East Department of the Institute of Oriental Studies at TSU’s Faculty of Humanities.
Darejan Tvaltvadze, dean of the Faculty of Humanities at TSU, welcomed the audience. Along with TSU academics, foreign researchers are also attending the event. The two-day conference will end on May 8.
