The 12th International Scientific Conference “Prospects for the Development of Georgian-Ossetian Relations” was held at Tbilisi State University on October 13-14. The conference was dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Ivane Javakhishvili’s birth. Representatives of various official structures and higher education institutions in Georgia, as well as researchers and foreign guests participated in the conference.
TSU Deputy Rector Erekle Astakhishvili, Dean of the TSU Faculty of Humanities Darejan Tvaltvadze, and Naira Bepiev, Director of the TSU Scientific Research Center for Georgian-Ossetian Relations welcomed the event participants.
The event was organized by Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, the Scientific Research Center for Georgian-Ossetian Relations, the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, the State Language Department, and the Giorgi Akhvlediani Society for the History of Linguistics.
