Training “Sustainable Development, Natural Processes and Geoecological Problems”

A training on “Sustainable Development, Natural Processes and Geoecological Problems” was opened at Tbilisi State University on October 19. The training was organized by the Quality Assurance Service of TSU with the financial support of the Francophone University Agency (AUF) in Central and Eastern Europe. Shota Potolashvili, Head of the Quality Assurance Service, welcomed the participants. The participants had the opportunity to listen to Mohamed Ketata, Regional Director of AUF in Central and Eastern Europe. The two-day training will end on October 20.

The training will be led by experts: Giorgi Gaprindashvili - Head of the Department of Natural Disasters, Engineering Geology and Hydrogeology of the Geological Department of the National Environmental Agency of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture; and Vazha Trapaidze - Associate Professor of the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences of Tbilisi State University, Deputy Dean in the scientific field.

The target group of the training includes bachelor, master and doctoral students of TSU as well as other interested persons. Issues related to ecology, sustainable development, geo-ecological problems and natural processes will be discussed during the training.
