The issues of supporting French language teaching and the implementation of joint projects were discussed at a meeting held at Tbilisi State University (TSU) between Academician Jaba Samushia, the Rector of TSU, and Mohamed Ketata, Regional Director of the Francophone University Agency (AUF) for Central and Eastern Europe.
Rector Jaba Samushia said that the university has a close and fruitful partnership with AUF. This is the result of cooperation between TSU and partner universities united in AUF. All this will contribute to the further development of the relationship between AUF and TSU, the popularization of the French language, and the development of teaching methods. The participants of the meeting also assessed the results of the activities of the AUF Regional Office for Central and Eastern Europe.
The Francophone University Agency (AUF) is one of the largest associations of higher education and research institutions in the world. It unites over 1000 universities, colleges, university networks, and scientific research centers. TSU has been a member of AUF since 2008.
