“Intercultural Communication in Academic Settings in South Caucasus and Norway” – Concluding Meeting

A concluding meeting of the project “Intercultural Communication in Academic Settings in South Caucasus and Norway” implemented within the framework of the promotion of institutional partnership development in 2017-2022 was held at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. The participants summarized the results of the work done over the past years and discussed the prospects of future cooperation.
 

Representatives of the universities of Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Norway were involved in the project. The project was led by Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and Oslo Metropolitan University.
 

The delegation of Oslo Metropolitan University included: Kristin Bugge (internationalization expert, Faculty of Education and International Studies); Tom Griffiths (academic coordinator of the Master’s programme on International Development, Education and Sustainability; Dr. Jørn Holm-Hansen (formative dialogue researcher); Mikhail Kharakoz, and Arnfinn Muruvik Vonen (project coordinator).
 

Tbilisi State University was represented by Tea Gergedava, Head of International Relations Department; Professor Ketevan Khutsishvili; Associate Professor Ekaterine Pirtskhalava, invited lecturer/media researcher Ekaterine Basilaia.
